Visiting Scholar Recruitment

We are also accepting applications for Visiting Scholars to join our research group at Kingโ€™s College London for a short-term stay (typically 6 months). This position is ideal for PhD candidates or early-career researchers interested in gaining international academic experience and contributing to impactful urban research.

๐ŸŒŠ Flood risk prediction using AI and machine learning (e.g., LSTM, GNN)

๐Ÿ›ฐ Integration of remote sensing and GIS for flood-prone area mapping

๐Ÿ™ Urban resilience modeling under extreme rainfall and flood stress

๐Ÿšง Built environment vulnerability analysis in flood scenarios

๐Ÿ“ˆ Scenario-based simulation and policy evaluation for flood mitigation

โœ… Requirements

Masterโ€™s degree or above (PhD candidates preferred)

At least one academic publication

Strong background in GIS, modeling, or urban studies

Fully self-funded (via CSC, Feiying Plan, or other fellowships)
